Fruit Growers Express (FGEX) was a railroad refrigerator car leasing company that began as a produce-hauling subsidiary of Armour and Company's private refrigerator car line. The company is now controlled by the CSX Corporation.
FGEX 57708, FGE Wooden Reefer
FGEX 57708 is a wooden ice reefer built in 1928 by Fruit Growers Express Company, Alexandria, Virginia. It was retired by FGE in 1975.
