Wednesday night I stayed in Bakersfield. Then, Thursday morning, I went to Tunnel 2 where I caught a train, then I met Dan. Dan had driven out from Vegas, where his wife and him were staying.
We hiked into Allard, but did not see a train there as there was track work going on. Then, we hiked into Tunnel 1. The work windows opened up after 3 pm and suddenly there were trains everywhere!
That night, after Dan left, I drove to Hesperia. I grabbed a bite along the way.
