Subaru 94,354 at Chalet View Lodge
Our final day in the Feather River Canyon. Susie slept in in the morning at the Chalet View Lodge while I went into Portola a few miles away. Around 9:30 I went back to the lodge and we checked out. We followed a UP westbound Grain train (GSHLST?) that I had seen earlier in Portola down the canyon, all the way to James. The leisurely paced chase even allowed us enough time to have burgers, fries and beers in Belden.
