UPY 896 Railpower RP20CD, UP model designation RP20SD

UPY 896, Y887 series, was remanufactured in April 2008 at CAD Railway Industries in Lachine, Quebec. UP's designation is RP20SD. It's core is former MP 3298, an SD40-2 built in July 1979. MP3298 became UP 4298, then UPB 4298, then RPRX 4298.

Reportedly (sources) Railpower RP20CDs UPY 896 and 895 shove on a cut in the J.R. Davis Yard on Hump Lead 099 near CP RV102 Antelope, CA at about 6:15 p.m. on Sunday April 27, 2014. It has been suggested these Railpower RP20CDs resemble modern RSD5s.
