At 5:35 p.m. on Friday, March 24, 2023, at Vancouver, WA, BNSF 1406 is being led by BNSF 1456. These old warriors brought back memories to me of the 1970's when BN ALCo RS3s and RS11s would lead transfer runs between Vancouver and Portland.

BNSF 1406 is an SD60M. Reportedly: It was built in 1990 as BN 9215, builders number 887033-16. Reporting marks and numbers said to be associated with this locomotive include: BNSF 9215, BNSF 8115, BN 9215 and BNSF 1406.

BNSF 1900, EMD SD40-2

BNSF 1900 is an EMD SD40-2. Reportedly BNSF 1900 was built by EMD in 1980 as an SD40-2 ATSF 5135 serial number 796396-6. It subsequently was also numbered BNSF 6864.

BNSF Railway (BNSF) 1900 is leading a 3+0 eastbound on the Gassman Coulee Trestle, west of Minot, ND at 5:35 p.m. on Sunday, July 28, 2019. The consist was BNSF 1900, 1444, 1619 (SD40-2, SD60M, SD40-2).
