According to Railway Preservation News, "Vintage Locomotives, Inc. is the business name of Ed Bowers, a diesel collector of note. He seems to have stuff stashed all over the place."

Former VLIX 158, ALCo S2
Former VLIX 158 is an ALCo S2. Reportedly: it was built in 1949 as Monogahela Connecting 158, serial number 76586. Reporting marks and numbers said to be associated with this locomotive include Fort Howard Paper, Muskogee, 158.

Former VIA 6763 is a MLW FPA4. Reportedly: It was built in 1958 by MLW builders number 82272, as CN 6763.
Other reporting marks and numbers said by some to be associated with this locomotive include NCRY 6763, VIA 6763, DRMX 6763, DL 6763. This subsequently became Waldens Ridge Railroad (WRRX) 6763.
