SP 2400 Alco C-415, SP Class AS415-1
Reportedly (sources) built in Nov. 1966 as SP 2400; Alco Products builder's number 3458-1. Sold May 1977 to Fundidora Monterrey a steel mill in Monterrey, Mexico with some other C-415s. One of the units sent there, Fundidora Monterrey 25, former SP 2406, has been preserved and is (or was?) displayed in Monterrey, Mexico.

SP 2407 Alco C-415, SP Class AS415-1
SP 2407 is an ALCo C-415, SP Class AS415-1. Reportedly: it was built in 1966, builder's number 3458-9. This was the last C-415 to operate for SP, being used at times in 1978 as the Taylor "Shop Dinky." Sold April 1979 to Chrome Crankshaft. Sold in June 1979 to the Cowlitz and Cascade 702. Sold 1989 to Oregon Coast Line Express. Became Burlington Junction Railway 702, Burlington, IA. David Smith said on April 23, 2024, "CLC 702 , then Oregon Coastline Express 702, to Spirit of Oregon Diner Train 702, to Mt Hood Ry 702 , to Burlington Jct 702."

- No April fool's joke! SP C-415 2407 leads a set of SP Alco C-415s at the City of Industry, California, on April 1, 1973.
