Photos taken, or thought to be taken, or taken in or circa 1942. This is the last year any photographs could have been taken by Bill Darrough. According to his brother Jack, Bill died of cancer in 1942. He was 22.

Photographer most likely Bill Darrough, from the Jack Darrough Collection. Since Bill Darrough died of cancer in 1942 this may be among his last train photos. Photos from this collection have been shared with permission from Jack Darrough, obtained before he died.
