I was in Donner Pass with Ken Compton. An EB no grainer came in first thing in the morning and we tried, and failed to catch it at Eder. It seemed that Mostly we got trains going away from us this day! We got two at Norden, and another two at Lower Cascade, before finally catching an eastbound at Troy. We spent hours at Andover watching the light go away waiting for a flood of eastbounds that never came. Finally, in fading light we saw them at the west end of the big hole. But, we caught a westbound in glorious light there!
