Columbia River Gorge

I spent Monday night camping in Memaloose State Park Campground, near Mosier, Oregon,in the Columbia River Gorge. Tuesday I spent the day doing some super mellow foaming on the Union Pacific's Portland Subdivision (UP Side) of the Columbia River Gorge. This was a semi rest day as I spent the day reading and relaxing between trains. One of my favorite ways to railfan! There was a lot of smoke and activity from the Oregon wildfires that were burning at this time. Unknown to me then, is that later in this summer a lot of the area I was photographing in would burn. That evening I went to a friend's house in Portland.
