In August 2026 my great friend Ken Compton and I took a trip to the Tehachapi Mountains between Bakersfield and Mojave, California. On Wednesday, August 5, 2026, we drove south.

- Massive BNSF Train at Tunnel 2
- On Wednesday, August 5, 2026, a northbound massive 5+2+0 BNSF grain + manifest was winding its way from Allard toward Tunnel 2. The power was BNSF 6058, 7632, 6257, 4339, 4110 + 7524, 5086.
