BNSF 169 is an EMD GP60. Reportedly: BNSF 169 was built in 1988 by EMD as ATSF 4010 serial number 876031-11. It became BNSF 8710 then BNSF 169.

BNSF 680, GE Dash 9-40CW

BNSF 680 is a GE C44-9W. Reportedly BNSF 680 was built by GE in 1994 as a C44-9W, ATSF 680, builder's number 48159. After the merger it became BNSF 680.

On Friday, June 9, 2023, BNSF 6872, 4421 and 750 are on the point of an eastbound empty grain train sitting at Fenner, CA, on BNSF's Needles Subdivision, at 5:35 p.m. A westbound 4+0 intermodal train with 8045, 8016, 7219 and 4149 goes roaring past.

At 6:45 pm on May 15, 2013 BNSF 782, a GE Dash 9-44CW, in warbonnet paint is in a stack train led by 5289. It's going into Tunnel 2 in the Tehachapi mountains, east of Bakersfield, CA.
