BNSF 7010 is a SD40-2. Reportedly BNSF 7010 was built in 1977 by EMD as BN 7010 serial number 776053-20. Other Locomotives reportedly associated with this serial: HLCX 7010 and NS 3512. Reportedly this locomotive was retired in 2020.

Westbound Z-train with 11 units - On May 17, 2013 at 3:55 pm a WB BNSF Z train is caught on the east end of Barstow with 11 units: 7280, 4547, 6529, 4396, 5255, 4087, 7241, 7248, 4435, 7300, 7491.
