BNSF 7010 is a SD40-2. Reportedly BNSF 7010 was built in 1977 by EMD as BN 7010 serial number 776053-20. Other Locomotives reportedly associated with this serial: HLCX 7010 and NS 3512. Reportedly this locomotive was retired in 2020.

- On Thursday, May 5, 2022, at 2:45 p.m., two trains, an eastbound 5+0 BNSF Railway (BNSF) intermodal train and a westbound 4+2 manifest met in Crozier Canyon, AZ. Power on the eastbound was BNSF 5890, 7031, 4432, NS 1019, BNSF 715. Power on the westbound was BNSF 6128, 7032, 4193, 5196 + CN 2334, BNSF 8012.

The eastbound BNSF EB Q-STOATG6-7, autoracks and intermodal, 3+1, with BNSF 6791, 6307, 6578 + 7919 passes the stopped train.
