BNSF 5266, GE C44-9W

BNSF 5266 is a C44-9W. Reportedly: BNSF 5266 was built by GE in 2002 as an C44-9W serial number 53750.
UP 5266 on an intermodal Over/Under
At Frost, CA, near Victorville, on Wednesday, April 14, 2021, at 12:35 p.m., a westbound 5+0 BNSF Railway (BNSF) intermodal crosses over an eastbound UP manifest. The BNSF intermodal has 7591, 7822, 7711, 5266, 4350.
BNSF 5289 GE Dash 9-44CW
At 6:45 pm on May 15, 2013 an EB (SB) BNSF Double Stack with 5289, 782 wb, 5301, 1099 exits Tunnel 1 and approaches Tunnel 2 in the Tehachapi mountains. east of Bakersfield, CA. These are the first shots of a train taken with my D600!

BNSF 5331 is a GE C44-9W. Reportedly: BNSF 5331 was built by GE in 2001 as a C44-9W serial number 53275.

  • On March 30, 2012, BNSF 5377 and 4590 are on the point of a northbound Tehachapi Mountains stack train, exiting tunnel 5 and nearing where tunnel 4 used to be. The tunnel was daylighted after collapsing in the Tehachapi Mountains earthquake that occurred Monday, July 21, 1952. The mainline was moved over several feet and the hillside above the tunnel was used in the big fill.

  • On March 30, 2012 in the Tehachapi Mountains, BNSF 5377 and 4590 are on the point of a northbound stack train, exiting the remnants of tunnel 4 and nearing tunnel 3. I am on top of tunnel 3 taking this photo. Tunnel 4 was daylighted after collapsing in the Tehachapi Mountains earthquake that occurred Monday, July 21, 1952. The mainline was moved over several feet and the hillside above the tunnel was used in the big fill.

BNSF 5411 is a C44-9W. Reportedly: BNSF 5411 was built by GE in 2000 as a C44-9W serial number 52661.

At Frost, CA, on Wednesday, April 14, 2021, at 12:10 p.m., a westbound 3+0 BNSF Railway (BNSF) double stack has BNSF 6956, 5411, CSX Railroad (CSX) 854.

At 2:39 p.m. on Thursday, April 15, 2021, a BNSF Railway (BNSF) eastbound intermodal is led BNSF7971, 5411, 6956, 4350, 7711 on the BNSF Needles Subdivision at Ash Hill, CA.

BNSF 5461, BNSF Designation C44-9W

According to good sources BNSF 5461 was built in June 2000 by GE as a model C44-9W, builders number 52262, from BNSF series 4300-5532.

On Wednesday, April 14, 2021, in East Barstow at 4 p.m. a westbound BNSF Railway (BNSF) 2+3 Intermodal has 7358, 7605 + 5480, 6827, 7513.
