- At 1:54 p.m. on June 23, 2013 a BNSF eb "Provo" with 5220, 5249, 6593 is just east of Union Pacific's Sand Pass Siding in the Nevada desert.

BNSF 5261 is a GE C44-9W. Reportedly: it was built in 2002 serial number 53755.
- Meet in Barstow
- At 8:38 a.m. on Saturday, May 18, 2013, in Barstow, CA, BNSF 5261 was leading a 4+0 (5261, 4342, 4320, 5430) eastbound intermodal train onto the Needles Subdivision. Behind it a westbound 5+0 (BNSF 6836, 4014, NS 2583, 724wb, 960) manifest was heading in the other direction.

- At 6:45 pm on May 15, 2013 an EB (SB) BNSF Double Stack with 5289, 782 wb, 5301, 1099 exits Tunnel 1 and approaches Tunnel 2 in the Tehachapi mountains. east of Bakersfield, CA. These are the first shots of a train taken with my D600!

- BNSF 1+1 heading past the blossoms
- At 12:50 p.m., on Monday, Feb. 28, 2022, BNSF Railway (BNSF) 5400 is leading a 1+1 accelerating past blossoming trees southbound out of Riverbank, approaching the Amtrak station in Modesto, CA. BNSF 5295 is shoving on the rear.
