According to Wikipedia, The Cimarron Valley Railroad (reporting mark CVR) was purchased from Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad in February 1996. It runs over former C.V. and Manter Subdivisions of the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad tracks in Oklahoma, Colorado and Kansas. One line runs from Dodge City, KS to Boise City, OK, the other from Satanta, KS to Springfield, CO.

CVR 20, EMD GP30

According to good sources CVR 20 was built in 1963 by EMD as DRGW 3020 a model GP30, builders number 28049. It became CVR 3020, then CVR 20. This locomotive reportedly was retired and listed for sale by CVR in 2018.

CVR 3024, EMD GP30

According to good sources CVR 3024 was built in 1963 by EMD as DRGW 3024 a model GP30, builders number 28053. It became CVR 3024. This locomotive reportedly was retired and listed for sale by CVR in 2018.

CVR 4052, GE C40-8

CVR 4052 is a GE C40-8. Reportedly: CVR 4052 was built by GE in 1990 as a model C40-8, builders number 46336, CSXT 7612. It became CSX 7612 then CVR 4052.

CVR 5102, EMD SD50

According to good sources CVR 5102 was built in 1985 by EMD as a model SD50, builders number 847049-16, CNW 7015. It became UP 5075, then NREX 5075, then AO/WAMX 5102, then TIBR/WAMX 5102, then AWRR/WAMX 5102, then SW 5102 and at the time of the photo CVR 5102. It may become DCGX in the not too distant future.

CVR 8501 is a GE B39-8. Reportedly: CVR 8501 was built in 1987 by GE as LMX 8501 a model B39-8, builders number 45410. It is former SW 8501; ex UCRY 8501; ex RLCX 8501; nee LMX 8501
