SP 5100 GE 70 Ton, SP Class GS407-1
SP 5100 is a 70 Tonner GE, SP Class GS407-1. Reportedly: SP 5100 was built in 1949 by General Electric as a model 70 Ton, builders number 30034, SP 5100, SP Class DERS-200. In 1950 it was rereclassed to SP Class DF-200. In 1963 it was rereclassed to SP Class DS-500. In 1965 it was rereclassed to SP Class GS407-1.
The disposition of this locomotive is, retired in 1976. It became Weyerhaeuser 2901, then East Portland Traction 5100 then Samuels Steel Products 5100, then Oregon Pacific 5100. The 5100 was reportedly on display at the Oregon Rail Heritage Center. The 5100 is, or was, reported in storage at the Oregon Pacific Railroad's shop in Milwaukee, OR. It is, or was, not operational.

- On an unrecorded date in January 1977 SP 5100, a 70 Tonner GE, was sitting on the whiskers of the roundhouse in Eugene, OR.

SP 5103 GE 70 Ton, SP Class GS407-1
SP 5103 is a GE 70 Tonner, SP Class GS407-1. Reportedly: SP 5103 was built in 1949 by General Electric as a model 70 Ton, builders number 30166, SP 5103, SP Class DERS-200. In 1950 it was rereclassed to SP Class DF-200. In 1963 it was again reclassed to SP Class DS-500. In 1965 it was once again rereclassified to SP Class GS407-1.
The disposition of this locomotive is, retired in 1975. Became Staufer Chemical 510.

SP 5161 is an ALCo RSD15 DL600B, SP Class AS624-1. Reportedly: SP 5161 was built in 1959, ALCo construction number 83484, as SP 4817 class DF-502. Leased in March 1960 to T&NO as 251. Became SP 5161 in the 1965 renumbering as class AF624-1. In 1972 reclassified to switcher Class AS624-1 and renumbered SP 3101. Retired and sold May 1978.

SP 5161 is an ALCo RSD15 DL600B, SP Class AS624-1. Reportedly: SP 5162 was built in 1959, ALCo construction number 83485, as SP 4818 class DF-502. Leased in 1960 to T&NO as 251. Became SP 5162 in the 1965 renumbering as class AF624-1. In 1972 reclassified to switcher Class AS624-1 and renumbered SP 3102. Retired and sold in 1978.

SP 5266 B-L-H AS-616, SP Class BS616-5
SP 5266 is a B-L-H AS-616, SP Class BS616-5. Reportedly: SP 5266 was built in 1952 by B-L-H as a model AS-616, builders number 75462, SP 5266, SP Class DF-112. In 1965 those of these that were still in existence became SP Class BS616-5.
The disposition of this locomotive is: SP 5266 was retired and scrapped in 1969.

- SP B-L-H AS-616 5266 in Roseville, CA is what was likely an unknown date in September 1969. This would make it one of my oldest color slides.
