SP 4203, Baldwin 4-6-6-2, SP Class AM-2

Reportedly: SP 4203 was built in 1911 by Baldwin as a Mallet Mogul (MM), SP 4203, builder's number 36688, SP Class MM-2. This locomotive was upgraded in 1936 and converted to simple emerging as an Articulated Mogul (AM) SP 4203, SP Class AM-2. In 1938 the locomotive was renumbered to SP 3903.
The disposition of this locomotive is, vacated and scrapped in 1946.
SP AM-2 4203 in Portland, OR
The notes with the collection say this is Southern Pacific (SP) 4203 in Portland, OR on Friday, August 6, 1937. Photographer most likely Bill Darrough, from the Darrough Collection. Since negatives were extensively traded it's possible Bill was not the photographer. Photos from this collection have been shared with permission from Jack Darrough, obtained before he died.

Reportedly: SP 4203 was built in 1939 by Baldwin as a model AC-8, builders number 62291.
The disposition of this locomotive is, vacated and scrapped in 1956.
SP AC-8 4203 in Reno, NV
The notes with the collection say: Southern Pacific (SP) 4203 in Reno, NV, on Sunday, March 17, 1940.
Photographer most likely Bill Darrough, from the Darrough Collection. Since negatives were extensively traded it's possible Bill was not the photographer. Photos from this collection have been shared with permission from Jack Darrough, obtained before he died.

SP 4205, Baldwin 4-6-6-2, SP Class AM-2

The notes with the collection say: Southern Pacific (SP) 4205 is working in Ashland, OR on Saturday, December 8, 1934.

SP 4314, ALCo 4-8-2, SP Class MT-1

Reportedly: SP MT-1 4-8-2 4314 was built by ALCo in 1924, builders number 65384. It was vacated and scrapped in 1953.

The notes with the collection say: on Saturday, October 14, 1939, Southern Pacific (SP) 4314 is in Sacramento, CA. Photographer most likely Bill Darrough, from the Darrough Collection. SP 4330, SP Built, SP Class MT-3

According to good sources, SP MT-3 4-8-2 4330, built by SP Sacramento Shops in September 1925, vacated and scrapped in 1956.
SP 4330, Location not known
Date likely before 1939. Train 69 was the coaster, from San Francisco to LA. Location not currently known for sure. Thought to be on King St. in San Francisco.

SP 4416-29, Lima 4-8-4, SP Class GS-3

According to good sources, Class GS-3 was built in 1937 by Lima. The disposition of this class of locomotive is, all scrapped by 1959.

SP GS-3 on the Coast Daylight between Burlingame and San Mateo at MP 17, date unknown. Photographer most likely Bill Darrough, Photos from this collection have been shared with permission from Jack Darrough.

SP 4428, Lima 4-8-4, SP Class GS-3

According to good sources, SP 4-8-4 4428 was built in 1937 by Lima as a model GS-3, builders number 7733. 4428 vacated in 1958 and scrapped in 1959.
SP GS-3 4428 at Logan, CA
Date and location not currently known for certain, likely Logan, CA. The number boards are blurry but they appear to say 2-98. There's a small saddle tank steam engine to the right of the train.
