UP 9910 is an SD59MX. Reportedly UP 9910 was first built in Nov 1991 by EMD as a model SD60M, builders number 906100-1, UP SD60M 6269 becoming 2424, from UP series 2240-2520.
This locomotive was rebuilt in 2012 by EMD in 2012 as an SD59MX-2, UP 9910, new serial number 906100-1. The SD59MX is also known as an SD32ECO.

According to good sources UP SD59MX 9914 was built in 1992 by EMD as a model SD60M, UP 6295, UP Serial Number 906100-27, Order No 906100, Frame Number 906100-27. It was subsequently renumbered UP 2450 and retired as such in 2012, rebuilt as UP SD59MX 9914.

- Union Pacific SD59MX 9914 spent Aug. 8, 2013 at Watsonville, CA. According to Matt Vurek, "FYI, the SD59MXs are used on the nocturnal LRQ-53 Aromas - San Jose "Rock Job" (on duty 7pm weeknights). Unlike the 4 axle power around WJct, they are not used on any daytime locals."

Reportedly: UP 9950 was built in 1980 by EMD as SD40-2 MP 3320 serial number 786269-9. It became UP 4320, then UP 9950 after the merger.
