On Sunday, April 23, 2023, at 4:30 p.m., at the Hirschdale Road Overcrossing east of Truckee, CA, an eastbound UP 3+2 manifest is powered by UP 6177, 5013, 6351 + 5891, 6680.

UP 5057 EMD SD70M

According to good sources UP 5057 was built in October 2002 by EMD as a model SD70M, builders number 20006223-208. It's in series 5000-5102.

At 4:17 p.m. on June 23, 2013 a Union Pacific westbound stack train emerges into a burst of sunshine just east of Sand Pass Siding in the Nevada desert. The consist was 5297, 4436 and DPU 8642 shot with my D600 and 24~120mm f4 lens.

At 4:50 p.m., on June 28, 2014, at Cisco, CA a westbound 1+1 Stack Train with UP 7411 and 5314 (as the DPU) is on number two track, exiting tunnel 38 going into tunnel 39.

UP 5334 is a GE ES44AC, UP model designation C45ACCTE. Reportedly: 5334 was built in 2006 serial number 56678.

On Sunday, April 23, 2023, at 12:35 p.m., a westbound Union Pacific Railroad Company (UP) 4+2 is at Soda Springs. It has UP 5334, 2612, 2010, 5623 + 2571, 4339 for power.

UP 5396 leads the 5399, 4433, 7618 and 7619 on the former Oregon Railway & Navigation Co. around the Durkee Loop near Durkee, OR on June 11, 2007.

UP 5398, GE ES44AC

UP 5462 is a GE ES44AC, UP designation AC45CCTE. Reportedly: UP 5462 was built by GE in 2005 builder number 55618.
Eastbound at Bealville in 2008
On Sunday, April 13, 2008, Union Pacific (UP) ES44AC (UP designation) C45ACCTE (GEVO) 5398 at Bealville shoves hard at the back of a DPU set on a 3+3 eastbound at Bealville, CA. UP 5472, 4523 and 3793 are leading with 4278, 5379 and 5398 shoveing hard at the back of a DPU set. In this series is a photo where UP GEVO 5462 emerges in a cloud of smoke from the mouth of tunnel 5 on the front of the train near Cliff as 5398 shoves on the rear. Look up towards the top left of that photo.
